Psycho Crusher - Lavender Syndrome

ENG: The music from Lavender Town in the old Pokémon games has always evoked strange feelings on everyone. I always thought that the feeling it causes, is one of the hardest to accomplish through music, so here’s my rendition to that.
I took parts from the very original version of Lavender Town, from the Japanese Beta version of Pokémon Green (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNKEcCna-ws) for the intro and bridge of my arrangement.
You can clearly hear a little doom metal and djent influencies on this one.

SPA: La música del Pueblo Lavanda de los viejos juegos de Pokémon siempre ha evocado sentimientos extraños en todos. Siempre he pensado que el sentimiento que causa, es uno de los más difíciles de lograr a través de la música, así que esta es mi interpretación de aquello.
Tomé partes de la versión original del Pueblo Lavanda, de la versión Beta japonesa de Pokémon Green (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNKEcCna-ws) para la intro y el puente de mi arreglo.
Claramente se puede escuchar un poco de influencia del doom metal y djent en este tema.

ENG: I always liked how the original menu music from Wolfenstein 3D sounded. It has the classic melancholic atmosphere that I love so much. I tried something different this time, I used a post-rock kind of sound with heavily layered guitars and tremolo picking notes.
SPA: Siempre me gustó cómo sonaba el tema original del menú de Wolfenstein 3D. Tiene la clásica atmósfera melancólica que tanto me encanta. Intenté algo diferente esta vez, usé un sonido tipo post-rock, con muchas capas de guitarra y notas tocadas con tremolo picking.

Psycho Crusher - A Wanderer on the Way
(Shadow of the Colossus - The Opened Way)

ENG: Arranging from a huge orchestra to a rock band format was challeging. The power is given to the track through the simple but rhythmically rich riffs and potent drum patterns. The melody has been kept intact, this has always been something I do in my arrangements. I added a lower 8th to the melody, and a minor harmonized passage. The whole thing finishes with everything playing a nice unison ending.
SPA: Hacer arreglos desde una orquesta a formato rock fue un desafío. El poder es entregado al tema a través de los simples pero ritmicamente ricos riffs y patrones de batería. La melodía ha quedado intacta, esto es algo que siempre hago en mis arreglos. Agregué una 8va más baja a la melodía y un pequeño pasaje armonizado. El tema termina como todos los instrumentos tocando un buen final al unísono.
